Contest Date – Saturday, March 29th 2025

Venue: Hindu Temple Of Hampton Roads

Mandatory $5 registration fee per participant.
Walkins NOT allowed on the day of contest.
Participants should be 18 yrs and above.
Theme: India’s timeless traditions and inspiring innovations.
No. of Participants : Minimum 1 person to max of 2 people in a group.
Rangoli Board: Board’s will be provided by the TOI committee.
Board pickup: will be coordinated by email after registrations are closed.
Materials to use: Rangoli powder, Colored Sand, Crystal Salt, Glitter powder, Glue. (major part of rangoli should be done using powders or sand or salt ).

Rules:

Participants can get their basic Rangoli design done at home and apply the powders as necessary at the venue.
Participants will get 60 min to finish their pieces.
Usage of stencils is NOT allowed.
No die-cuts, pulses or grains allowed.
Rangoli will be picked up after the judging and results announcement.
It’s the responsibility of the participant to pick their Board after the event.
The judge's decision will be final and binding.
Committee and Judges reserve the right to cancel the contest or to present no awards or to reduce the number of awards if an insufficient number of deserving entries are received.
Taste of India & Contest Mania reserves the right to utilize and publicize the contestant names, competition entries, photos and videos without any restriction – including website, Souvenir and media releases.
