Rangoli Contest will be held at Hindu Temple of Hampton Roads on March 26th, 2023, 11:30 pm check in time
Theme: “Rivers are Life Lines of India” and “Worship of Indian Rivers”
No. of Participants: Minimum 1 person to max of 2 people in a group.
12 Entries will be accepted on a first come first serve basis.
Registration fee is $10 per contestant (Mandatory).
Registration: Interested groups can email with the full names of the participants to Dharti Patel, [email protected] as well as register by clicking on Rangoli Registration on top left corner of this page.
Rangoli Board PickUp: Board’s will be provided by the TOI committee. Participants once registered can contact Dharti Patel for board
pickup details.
Materials to use: Rangoli powder, Colored Sand, Crystal Salt, Glitter powder, Glue.
Judges: Panel of independent judges will decide winners of the competition at around 3:00 pm and top 3 winners Rangoli will be features at Ted Constant Center on March 26th and also there will be exciting prizes for the 1st, 2nd and 3rd prize winners.
RULES:
- Participants can get their basic Rangoli design done at home and apply the powders as necessary at the venue.
- Please report by 11:30 Am, late arrivals after 12:00 pm will result in automatic disqualification.
- Rangoli will be picked up after the prize distribution is completed. It’s the responsibility of the participant to pick their Board after the event.
- No die-cuts, pulses or grains allowed.
